Vesta R. Wayne, 80, a Carson City resident for the past 25 years, died Nov. 13, 2002, in Dayton.
She was born Oct. 5, 1922, in Reed Springs, Mo., to William and Ameila Ebersole. Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Oroville, Calif., for 25 years.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church.
Among her survivors are her daughter Sharron Ketterling of Carson City; daughters and sons-in-law Lonetta and Jerry Ott of Dayton, Loretta and Roy Geisler of Oroville and Lavone and John Fowler of Puyallup, Wash.; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
