Packaging company selects Reno for sales, service office

Univenture, a company that makes

media and print packaging products,

opened a sales office in Reno today.

The company based in Columbus, Ohio,

already operates a 20,000-square-foot manufacturing

facility at Sparks. The sales office

will be separate from the manufacturing

operation.

Jim Greider, sales manager in the new

office, said Univenture selected a Reno

location because of its proximity to major

markets in the West.

Joining Greider in the office will be four

sales people and two customer-service representatives.

Univenture's products include packaging

for CDs and DVDs as well as polypropylene

case binders. Along with Reno, the

company's manufacturing plants are located

in Columbus and Dublin, Ireland.
