Martial arts firm moves

West Coast Martial Arts purchased a

6,088-square-foot building at Monte Vista

Center, 9590 N. McCarran Blvd. at Fourth

Street, for $991,000. Owners and operators

of West Coast Martial Arts, Tres and Kelly

Weatherford, relocated their karate, fitness

and aerobics studio to the building.

The sale was handled by John Pinjuv and

Lance Faulstich of Grubb & Ellis|Nevada

Commercial Group representing the seller,

McCarran Partners, and Ken Mattison and

Tess Zinio, also of Grubb & Ellis, representing

the Weatherfords.

The new facility features separate venues

for men, women and children. The children's

area has a glass wall so parents can view their

children's progress without interruption to

the program activities
