Membership includes four concerts in Carson City as well as concerts in other communities on a reciprocity agreement. Reno has contracted five concerts this season, all available to association members.

Membership in the association is $45 adults; $20 students or children and $90 family.

The Capital Community Concerts Association has contracted these world-class artists:

-- Harris & Vibes -- 3 p.m. Sept. 29 . From Reno, a husband and wife duo, Beverly Colgan, harpist and Joe Venuto on the vibraharp, blend the sounds of these two beautiful instruments featuring classical works and jazz numbers.

-- Laurel Trio -- 7:30 p.m. Feb. 7. Founded in 1994, the Laurel Trio has distinguished itself as one of America's foremost piano trios. (A piano trio consists of a pianist, violinist and cellist.) It has won many awards and competitions and has performed internationally as well as from coast to coast in the United States.

-- Proteus 7 -- 7:30 p.m. March 5. From Bach to Bacharach, Proteus 7 breaths new life into chamber music with dynamic, creative and free ranging approach to styles and repertoire. These seven players bring the tonal palette of a symphony orchestra, the excitement of a big band and the intimacy of a chamber ensemble to the concert stage.

-- Glenn Rose -- 7:30 p.m. April 21. Glenn Rose pays tribute to the Golden Age of popular music in his show about giants of Tin Pan Alley. In particular, he pays homage to Irving Berlin. An accomplished vocalist and pianist, tap dancer, ukulele and guitar player, Glenn further enriches his programs with his gift for storytelling.
