Nevada JobConnect, a statewide
network offering employment assistance
to businesses and jobseekers for
no charge, said it formed partnerships
with Home Depot, Citibank and
Health Care of America, Inc. to help
these companies recruit.
The companies' human resource
managers will use Nevada
JobConnect's services to help fill positions.
The Citibank and HCA partnerships
will focus on the Las Vegas
area, while Home Depot's is a national
partnership that will help Home
Depot fill the 40,000 new jobs it will
have available over the next year in
more than 1,300 U.S. stores.
The JobConnect system is designed
with a strong local focus because most
hiring happens at the local level.
