Panda plans three stores

Panda Express, a quick-service

Chinese restaurant chain, plans to open

restaurants in Reno, Sparks and Truckee,

Calif., by the end of the year.

The new stores are under construction

at Meadwood Marketplace (next to

Mimi's Cafe and Krispy Kreme) on

Kietzke Lane, in Sparks on the corner of

Sparks Boulevard and Prater Way in the

Marina Marketplace and in Truckee at the

Gateway Shopping Center.

co-owner of Grubb & Ellis|Nevada

Commercial Group, who represents

Panda Express in northern Nevada, said

the firm is looking at opening approximately

three more locations in the market

in 2003.
