Reno company buys sapphire prospect

Americana Gold and Diamond Holdings, Inc.

of Reno said last week it completed its acquisition of a 49 percent in a sapphire mining project in Madagascar.

Publicly held AGDM will pay $2 million in restricted common stock and warrants to Platinum Works Inc.

for the controlling interest in the project.
