A memorial service for Mabel Genevieve Adams Spaletta, 93, a longtime Reno resident, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mountain View Cemetery/Mausoleum in Reno.
Mrs. Spaletta died April 8, 2003. She was born Nov. 15, 1909, in Sierraville, Calif., to Dora Anne and Horace Harry Adams. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harry, in 1979.
She married William Spaletta on May 5, 1928, in Reno. They owned and operated the Reno-Loyalton-Cal/Pine Stages and Nevada Scenic Tours.
Among her survivors are her children Delphine Minor of Dayton, Howard Spaletta of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Donna Phillips of Lovelock; 12 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
The family asks that donations be made in Mrs. Spaletta's memory to St. Mary's Hospice Care, 3264 Goni Road, Suite 151, Carson City 89706.
