Hale Lane adds shareholders

Reno law firm Hale Lane said last week it has named three new shareholders.

Gold is a tax attorney who practices in the areas of estate and family business planning, probate, as well as tax-exempt entities, corporate law, partnerships and limited liability companies.

Torry R.

Somers practices regulatory and administrative law primarily representing telecommunications, energy and water companies before the Public Utilities Commission.

Somers' experience also includes commercial litigation before the federal and state courts in the areas of contract disputes and the Uniform Commercial Code.

Patrick J.

Reilly practices in federal and state courts in commercial litigation representing institutional clients including banks, hotels and casinos, national retailers and public utilities.

He has litigated in areas such as complex contract disputes, mechanic's lien litigation, bank disputes, employment disputes and tort actions.

His experience also includes cases involving the American with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act and Uniform Commercial Code.

Reilly is admitted to the United States District Court for the District of Nevada, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.
