Ronald Phaneuf, professor of physics at the University of Nevada, Reno, has been named recipient of a Humboldt Research Award by Germany's Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.
Phaneuf will work at a university in Giessen between June and December this year with researchers with whom he has previously collaborated.
