Peter Gillon

Peter Gillon, former development manager for the City of Cincinnati, has been named administrator of the Reno Downtown Redevelopment Agency.

Gillon will oversee the agency's annual budget of approximately $5.8 million and its work to attract new businesses and develop housing and recreation in Reno's 542-acre central city district.

While Development Manager for Cincinnati, Gillon managed tax incentive programs and redevelopment programs that involved land acquisition, subdivisions, retention and attraction efforts as well as international programs.

He also helped created 10 tax incentive districts in Cincinnati, and worked with a citizen advisory group to fashion development projects in neighborhood business districts.
