Obituary: Dorothy Neville Hutchison

A funeral for Dorothy Neville Hutchison, 83, a Carson City resident for the past 38 years, will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at St. Peter's Episcopal Church.

Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.

Mrs. Hutchison died Aug. 21, 2003, in Carson City. She was born May 13, 1920, in Washington, D.C.

Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Winnemucca for 10 years.

Mrs. Hutchison was a retired supervisor for the State of Nevada Department of Education. She was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church and the Order of Eastern Star of Winnemucca.

She was preceded in death by her husband Alex.

Among her survivors are her children Virginia Hormann of Cyril, Okla., Patricia Johanson of Monrovia, Calif., Michael Neville of Sparks, David Neville of Carson City and William Neville of San Luis Obispo, Calif.; stepchildren Sandra Isaac of Bethlehem, Pa., Norma Davis of Carson City and Alex Hutchison Jr. of Carson City; sister Shirley Brown of Pennsylvania; 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Entombment will be in Walton's Carson Gardens Cemetery in Carson City.
