Dealer upgrades to spacious facility

Lexus of Reno last week began moving into its new 34,000-square-foot dealership at 3225 Mill St.

Tom Dolan, owner of the dealership, said the new facility is about five times the size of its previous location at 2070 Kietzke Lane.

The company gains more than mere square footage from the expansion.

The Lexus organization, Dolan explained, look at the new facility as a statement of his company's allegiance the brand and will increase the Reno dealership's allotment of inventory.

"We earned a bunch more cars," Dolan said.

That, in turn, will allow Lexus of Reno to spread its overhead across more transactions.

The new facility includes space for parts, sales and service departments.

The dealership employs more than 35.
