Obituary: Dolly Barber

Memorial services for Dolly Barber, a 3-1/2 year resident of Carson City, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Calvary Chapel Carson City Christian Fellowship.

Mrs. Barber died Jan. 30, 2003 in Carson City. She was born April 18, 1920 in Fort Lupton, Colo., to Charles J. and Frances Pekar Wagner. She was 82.

Mrs. Barber was a homemaker and a Christian.

Prior to moving to Carson City she lived in Roseburg, Ore.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl A. Barber, April 29, 1975, in Roseburg and a son, Gary W., June 15, 1997.

Among her survivors are: a son, David A. Barber of Carson City; grandchildren Dian Vanderwell and Daniel Barber, both of Reno, Donald Barber of Sparks and Michele Tracy of Eugene, Ore.; sisters Pat Hardrick of Loma, Colo., Pearl Martin of Las Cruces, N.M., Frances McArthur of Roseburg and Alice Wagner of Pueblo, Colo.; brothers Tommy Wagner of Pueblo and John Wagner of Artesia, N.M.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Burial will be at the Roseburg Veterans Cemetery.
