A service for James Joseph "Jay" Mounce, 29, a Carson City resident for the past three years and Nevada native, will be at 5 p.m. Thursday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Walton's.
Mr. Mounce died Jan. 31, 2003, at his home. He was born June 4, 1973, in Sparks, to James and Elizabeth Munroe Mounce.
He graduated from Sparks High School in 1992 and Truckee Meadows Community College.
He married Patty Little Aug. 24, 2002, in Monterey, Calif.
Mr. Mounce was a rodeo rider and a plumber.
Among his survivors are: wife Patty of Carson City; daughter LeAnn Mounce of Washoe Valley; parents and sister Holly Mounce.
Burial will be at Mountain View Cemetery in Reno.
