A Carson City 18-year-old was arrested Thursday on charges of statutory sexual seduction involving a 13-year-old runaway.
Rafael Oseguera Mendes was arrested at his place of employment on Sigstrom Drive at 4:15 p.m.
According to department reports, Carson City Sheriff's Deputy Daniel Ochsenschlager went to Mendes' workplace Thursday afternoon in response to allegations made Wednesday.
Mendes was arrested for suspicion of statutory sexual seduction after allegedly telling the deputy he had intercourse with the runaway five times. He was booked into Carson City Jail with bail set at $76,950.
