Revised plans submitted for mine

Golden Phoenix Minerals Inc.

a mineral- property development company based in Reno, last week submitted the final revisions of its plans for the Mineral Ridge Mine to the Bureau of Land Management and Nevada Department of Environmental Protection.

Once those agencies approve the mine, the company will need to have a $2.7 million reclamation bond in place before work can begin.

The company currently has a $1.8 million cash interim bond in place with the agencies.

The mine is 32 miles west of Tonopah in Esmeralda County.
