A funeral for Myron Tom Ellis, 42, a lifetime resident of Woodfords, Calif., will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at FitzHenry's Funeral Home in Gardnerville.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at FitzHenry's Funeral Home.
A dinner will follow the funeral at Hung-a-lelti Firehouse in Woodfords.
Mr. Ellis died Feb. 23, 2003, in Redcrest, Calif. He was born Sept. 24, 1960, in Carson City, to Ranger and Clara Ellis.
Mr. Ellis enjoyed writing poetry, hiking, hunting, fishing, riding his bike, and roaming the mountains around Woodfords.
Among his survivors are his mother, Clara of Woodfords; father, Ranger of Carson City; sisters Desiree, Deann, Jeanine, Deborah and Laurana; brothers Todd and Thomas; nieces Kristina and Sarah; nephews Terrance, Matthew and Michael; and three great-nieces and two great-nephews.
FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
