Hilda Gomes, 81, a Carson City resident for the past seven months, died Jan. 1, 2003, in Reno. She was born April 15, 1921, in Maui, Hawaii.
She was preceded in death by her husband Manuel Jr.
Among her survivors are her sons Larry of San Jose, Calif., son and daughter- in-law Reggie and Michelle of Hesperia, Calif., son Mike of Lucerne Valley, Calif., sons and daughters-in-law Jim and Jane of Bluefield, W.Va., Harold and Denise of Carson City and Manuel "Mickey" III and Monique of Mission Viejo, Calif.; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held in California.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
