RTC departments win professional honors

The finance and engineering departments

of the Regional Transportation

Commission won recognition from professional

groups.

The engineering department was recognized

by Associated General

Contractors of Northern Nevada for its

Evans and Ninth Avenue project in Reno.

The project was completed on time and

under budget. It was overseen by RTC

engineers Michele Dennis and Brenda

Lee, who worked with Q&D

Construction of Sparks.

The RTC finance department for the

16th consecutive year won the Excellence

in Financial Reporting aware of the

Government Finance Officers

Association.
