Builders group installs officers

John Cassinelli of Cassinelli Landscaping was installed last week as president of the Builders Association of Western Nevada.

Installed as first vice president of the organization based in Carson City was Eric Irvin of Capital Drywall.

Other officers include Glen Martel of Landmark Homes, second vice president; Jim Kiernan of Northern Nevada Title Co., secretary-treasurer; and Bob Pence of Capital Wholesale Electric, president of the Spike Club.

Installed as builder directors were Bill Miles of Miles Brothers Construction, Pete Coates of Mountain Inc.

and C.J.

Bawden of Paragon & Associates.

Installed as associate directors were Pence; Jim Johnson of Sierra Pacific Power Co.; Aaron West of Lumos & Associates; Chad Janosek of Tahoe Truss Co.; and Larry Osborne of the Carson City Area Chamber of Commerce.

The group honored Martel as builder of the year and Pence as its associate member of the year.

Norvel Stevens of Capital Drywall was inducted into BAWN's Builder Hall of Fame.
