Business Bank to open office

Business Bank of Nevada will open a loan production office in the Gardnerville/Minden area early next month.

The new facility will be in the Sierra Center at 1662 Highway 395, Suite 105, in Minden.

This will be the second loan production office Business Bank has opened in the Douglas County area in the last four months.

In October, the bank opened an office at Stateline.

The Minden facility will be staffed by Susan Potter, a longtime resident of the area and a vice president and commercial loan officer for Business Bank.

John Guedry, president and chief executive officer of Business Bank, said the bank is acquiring property in the Gardnerville/Minden area for a full-service branch in the near future.

The bank is also looking at other markets in both northern and southern Nevada to open additional loan production offices and branches, Guedry said.

The company operates a branch at Carson City.

At a loan production office, bank employees can meet with customers, accept loan applications and complete loans.

The office can't directly receive deposits or handle withdrawals or cash.
