DM Productions LLC of Reno has been named producer of Cinco de Mayo Reno for the next five years.
In 2002, more than 100,000 people attended the downtown event co-sponsored by the City of Reno and benefiting Nevada Hispanic Services.
Doug Collins, president and founder of DM Productions LLC, said his company believes Cinco de Mayo Reno could become as large as Hot August Nights.
Since its founding in 1994 DM Productions, LLC has produced events ranging from the Celebrity Winterfest with headliners Arnold Schwarzenegger and Clint Eastwood to the Reno Film Festival and music festivals.
Strategic partners assisting DM Productions, LLC in the production of Cinco de Mayo Reno 2003 are Mackenzie Marcil, Pink Cadillac Productions and Prism Design.
