Obituary: Bert Russell Baldwin

A private service for Bert Russell Baldwin, 78, a Minden resident for the past eight years, will be held at Sierra View Baptist Church.

Mr. Baldwin died Jan. 16, 2003, in Mountain View Care Center in Carson City. He was born Sept. 19, 1924, in American Falls, Idaho, to Charles Russell and Bertha Lee Baldwin.

He graduated from high school in Ely.

He married Mary Jane Baldwin Sept. 9, 1995, in Reno.

Before moving to Minden, he lived in Twin Falls, Idaho.

Mr. Baldwin was a bus and truck driver. He was a member of Sierra View Baptist Church.

Among his survivors are his wife, Mary Jane of Minden; daughter, Vicki Rae Marcuse of Dallas; son, Russell Blane Baldwin of Twin Falls; brother, Blane of Pleasant Grove, Utah; a grandchild and two great-grandchildren.

Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
