Washington bail jumper caught in Reno

RENO -- A man wanted for skipping bail in Washington state has been arrested in Reno following a brief standoff with bail bondsmen.

Now, police here were investigating a claim by the suspect's family that the bondsmen impersonated police officers when they kicked down the door of their home.

A warrant was issued for Terrell Johnson after he failed to show up in court in Spokane, Wash., on a charge of driving under the influence of drugs, police said.

According to authorities, agents from Nevada Bail Enforcement found Johnson on Thursday at his parent's home in Stead. The agents saw Johnson in the front yard and reportedly shot him twice with rubber bullets and a Taser as he ran into the house.

A neighbor who saw the commotion called police.

Johnson was arrested without further incident when police arrived.
