A memorial service for Joyce Marie Brooks, a 10-year resident of Gardnerville, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home in Gardnerville.
Ms. Brooks died Jan. 24, 2003, at the Carson Valley Residential Care Center in Gardnerville. She was born Aug. 16, 1960, in California to Robert J. and Wanda E. Allen Brooks. She was 42.
Prior to living in Gardnerville she lived in Lakewood, Calif.
Among her survivors are her mother and father of Gardnerville; brothers Joe Brooks and Alec Price, both of Gardnerville; sister Patty Price of Gardnerville; and nephews A.J. Price and Robert Harlan.
FitzHenry's Crematory is in charge of cremation.
FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home in Gardnerville is in charge of arrangements.
