State parole office headed downtown

The State of Nevada, Parole and Probations Division leased a 17,000- square-foot office building at 10 State St.

and, in a separate transaction, leased a nearby parking lot.

The state will employ about 60 people in the office and is moving to the downtown location closer to courts as a costsaving move.

NAI Hale Day Gallagher Co.

represented the state in the lease negotiations.
