Lawrence H. "Larry" Grimm, 80, a Topaz resident for the past 20 years, died Jan. 25, 2003, at home. He was born March 19, 1922, in Pikesville, Md., to Lawrence Sr. and Ada Flocher Grimm.
He attended high school in Maryland.
Mr. Grimm retired as chief pharmacist's mate in the U.S. Navy after 20 years. He was a member of the Catholic church.
Among his survivors are his wife, Lola Martin, of Annapolis, Md.; and sister, Audrey Stone of Bel Aire, Md.
At his request, there will be no services.
He will be buried at sea by the U.S. Navy in San Diego, Calif.
Walton's Douglas County Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
