Maggie Summerfelt has been named executive director of the Center for Outpatient Surgery at Saint Mary's Health Network in Reno.
Her health care experience includes 25 years experience in both clinical and health care management.
She joins Saint Mary's after four years as administrator of Reno Medical Plaza.
She succeeds Christine Balascoe, who has accepted a project coordinator position.
Balascoe will work with medical center leaders to research, and implement opportunities for new business and growth of current programs.
