Obituary: Alvin A. Graham

Memorial services for Alvin A. Graham a resident of Minden for the past nine years will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Carson Valley Christian Center in Minden.

Mr. Graham died May 30, 2003 at home. He was born Jan. 20, 1936 in Iowa to Vernon and Clara Graham. He was 67.

Mr. Graham owned and operated the G&A Machine Shop.

He married Lydel June 17, 1955.

He lived in Bellflower, Calif., before moving to Minden.

Mr. Graham was preceded in death by his father and a brother Arthur.

Among his survivors are his wife of Minden; son, Alvin Craig, of Gardnerville; daughters Constance Lengle of Shadow Hills, Calif., Cassandra Huff of Minden and Clarissa Weaver of Gardnerville; mother Clara of Newton, Iowa; sisters Naomi Engle of Newton, Lavonne Riley, of Desert Hot Springs, Calif., and Lucille Cortezio of Newton; and seven grandchildren.

Walton's Sierra Crematory is in charge of cremation.

Capitol City Cremation Society is in charge of arrangements.
