Lonnie Thomas has been named vice president and business development officer for Nevada State Small Business Finance, a unit of Nevada State Bank, in Reno.
Thomas has been in banking for more than 26 years, with the last 13 years as an SBA loan officer, most recently at Heritage Bank.
He serves on the board of directors and loan committee for Nevada MicroEnterprise Initiative and was the recipient of the SBA's 2002 Financial Services Advocate award.
He has completed coursework in business administration/banking at Truckee Meadows Community College and the University of Nevada-Reno.
