A graveside memorial service for Irene Louise Asabez, 75, a Stagecoach resident for the past two years, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Dayton Cemetery with the Rev. Milton Carr officiating.
Mrs. Asabez died May 24, 2003, at home. She was born June 4, 1927, in San Luis Obispo, Calif., to Theodore and Elaine Poprava.
Before moving to Stagecoach, she lived in California.
Mrs. Asabez enjoyed yard sales, being with friends and caring for animals.
Among her survivors are her companion, Tom Willhoit of Stagecoach; and daughter, Debbie Iudice of California.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lyon County Animal Shelter.
Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
