Flaherty joins Nichols Consulting board

Reno-based Nichols Consulting Engineers, a pavement research, engineering, training and management systems firm, announced it has appointed Dr.

Rich Flaherty to its board of directors.

Flaherty will join six other board members in leading the company's directional development including new growth opportunities for Nichols and oversight to the company's operation.

Flaherty has been the dean for the College of Business and a professor of accounting at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas since 1999.

Previously he was on the faculty at Arizona State University for 21 years.
