An on-again, off-again construction project in Reno's South Meadows is on again as work has begun on the 80,000- square-foot Metric Building.
The building at 9425 Double R Blvd.
initially was proposed for construction two years ago but delayed when the market for industrial real estate softened, said Chris Martin of Reno South Meadows Commercial Properties.
His firm is the broker for the space.
The building will be leased or sold in increments ranging from 3,200 to 29,000 square feet.
The space is available for office, showroom, laboratory or research uses.
The front of the building features storefront windows; the rear includes drive-in doors.
Shaw Construction is the contractor on the concrete tilt-up building.
