Misty Young, vice president for public relations at the Reno agency KPS|3 , has been awarded accreditation in public relations by the Public Relations Society of America.
Young has more than 15 years of Nevada-based experience in political and public relations activities.
She served as deputy press secretary and education advisor to Gov.
Bob Miller, press secretary to Nevada Attorney General Frankie Sue Del Papa and constituent services representative for U.S.
Senator Richard Bryan.
Young joins 11 other northern Nevadans who have also earned the APR distinction.
