A celebration of life will be held for Lorraine Nickell, 55, of Carson City at 1 p.m. Monday at the Carson Nugget in banquet room C.
Mrs. Nickell died June 12, 2003 at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born Jan. 17, 1948 in California to Kenneth and Marion Davis Babaneau.
Mrs. Nickell enjoyed walks on the beach, camping, rodeos and visiting with people.
Prior to moving to Carson City four years ago she lived in Porterville, Calif.
She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Among her survivors are her husband, John, of Carson City; mother, Marion, of Porterville; daughters Heaven'le Nickell of Carson City; Kimberly Petersen of Running Springs, Calif., and Brandy Neal of San Bernardino, Calif.; sisters Linda Babaneau, Renee Babaneau, Rachelle Bales and Lorretta Orr, all of Porterville; and seven grandchildren.
Capitol Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
