Brian Ivie has been named chief administrative officer of Washoe Medical Center and will be responsible for daily operations of the 529- bed hospital.
Ivie most recently was chief operating officer of Regional Medical Center of San Jose in California.
His experience also includes work in financial management and process improvement.
He is an accounting graduate of California State University, Northridge, and holds a master's degree in business administration from Pepperdine University.
