Sparks shopping center sold

The Baring Village Shopping Center at Baring and Sparks boulevards in Sparks has been sold for $9.5 million.

The shopping center was purchased by a private investor in Southern California from Kan-Am, an Atlanta company which handles the investment of German institutional money in the United States.

CB Richard Ellis of Reno represented the seller.

The 91,753-square-foot Baring Village Shopping Center, built in 1987, is anchored by a Smith's grocery and Ace Hardware.

Other tenants include Round Table Pizza, a State Farm office,A&W Restaurant, Jimboy's and Port of Subs.
