A person snowshoeing in the area of Mt. Rose Summit discovered the body of a man partially covered in snow Saturday afternoon.
According to Washoe County Sheriff's Office reports, the deceased man was either white or Hispanic, and appeared to be in his 20s. His body seemed to have been in the snow for some time.
The cause of death has not yet been determined pending an autopsy, and an investigation is continuing.
