NNB earnings rise

Northern Nevada Bank earned $476,000 after-tax in 2002 compared with a loss of $1 million in the previous year.

Assets at year-end totaled $56 million compared with $37.5 million at the end of 2001.

President Robert Hemsath said growth of the independent bank was ahead of plans.
