Clark & Sullivan work wins national honor

Clark & Sullivan Constructors of Reno was selected as one of nine winners of a 2003 Aon Build America Merit Award.

Clark & Sullivan was honored for its work on the Reno-Sparks Convention Center expansion and remodel.

Clark & Sullivan was general contractor on the $60.5 million project, which consisted of a 300,000 square-foot expansion, along with renovations to the existing 500,000 square-foot building.

Additional work included the addition of a 14,665-square-foot projection screen supported by 55-foot-tall steel columns, a kitchen remodel, and addition of exposition space, halls and ballroom.

Clark & Sullivan finished the project three months ahead of the October 2002 schedule and $8.7 million under budget.

The AGC Build America Awards are sponsored by Aon Risk Services.
