Out & About: Community Calendar Of Events & Activities

Need a good laugh? Soroptimist of Carson City is presenting Comedy Night Saturday. This two-comedian set should be a great time. Laura House has appeared on MTV, HBO and NBC's "Friday Night." But f you think it will be all about male bashing, do not count on it. The show includes a male comedian, too. Lord Carret is bold, brash, has plenty of style and has appeared on Showtime and Comedy Central. The pair will make sure you leave laughing.

The public is invited to help the Emblem Club's Hearing-Impaired Program, which provides hearing-attenuation equipment for local schools to assist hearing-impaired students. The club will serve a light buffet and welcome shoppers to a secondhand boutique sale this weekend.

Getting a jump on spring cleaning? See below to send jackets or other reusable items to the Jubilee Center.
