Jean Towne, a Carson City resident for the past 30 years, died May 7, 2003, in Carson City.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Earl Towne.
Among her survivors are her sons Howard L. White II of Raymore, Mo., and Arthur E. White of Pleasant Hill, Mo.; daughter, Linda C. Martin of Las Vegas; one brother; two sisters; and grandchildren in Missouri and Louisiana.
At her request, there will be no service.
Cremation will be at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
