Joe Hasson, senior vice president and general manager of Harrah's, Harveys and Bill's Lake Tahoe will be the speaker at the Carson Valley Chamber of Commerce's general membership luncheon on May 21 at the Sierra Nevada Golf Ranch.
Hasson will discuss the impact of California casinos on the Douglas County gaming markets and how Lake Tahoe's largest casino business is dealing with competitive, economic and tourism industry opportunities and challenges.
He is currently the chairman of the Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority, and he is a member of the board of directors with the Hospitality Federal Credit Union located in Memphis,Tenn.
