Obituary: Carl Sewell

Carl Sewell, 39, a six-year resident of Carson City, died May 24, 2003 in Carson City.

He was born April 7, 1964, in Torrance, Calif., to Robert C. and Barbara Pierce Sewell.

Prior to living in Carson City, he lived in Blythe, Calif.

Mr. Sewell enjoyed skiing and riding Jet Skis.

He was preceded in death by Chet Ormiston in 1976.

Among his survivors are his grandmother Thelma Smith of Reno; great-grandmother, Mildred Padgett of Cathedral City, Calif., mother, Barbara Hopkins of Carson City; sisters Sheely Beynon and Cheyenne Ormiston, both of Aaronburg, Ariz.; brothers Kenneth Sewell of Indian Wells, N.C., Trevor Hopkins of Mesa, Ariz., and Travis and Troy Hopkins, both of Aaronburg, Ariz.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
