Edithe Ann Smead, 94, a Boise, Idaho, resident, died Nov. 9, 2003 at a Boise care center.
She was born Sept. 29, 1909, in Ontario, Canada.
She spent her childhood and attended school in Canada.
She married H. Neil Smead Oct. 14, 1931, in Buffalo, N.Y. They lived in New York, Wisconsin, California, Dayton and Boise.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1994, one son-in-law, three brothers and one sister.
Among her survivors are her daughter, Sandra Nesbitt of Meridian, Idaho; son, Larry of Connecticut; daughter and son-in-law Sue and Tony Megran of Boise; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law and one brother-in-law.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1111 Orchard, Boise, Idaho 83705.
A private family gathering will be held.
Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
