Charles B. Wolcott

A funeral service for 30-year Stagecoach resident Charles B. Wolcott will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at FitzHenry's Chapel of Faith.

Mr. Wolcott died Nov. 19, 2003, at home in Stagecoach.

He was born Nov. 18, 1923, in Miranda, S.D., to John and Ione Wolcott. He was 80.

Mr. Wolcott enjoyed the outdoors and horses. He rode in the centennial ride of the Pony Express. He was a telephone repairman.

Prior to living in Stagecoach, Mr. Wolcott lived in Reno.

He was a Jehovah's Witness.

Mr. Wolcott served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Among his survivors are his wife, Lois of Stagecoach; son, Nolan of Reno; daughter, Sharron Royal of Silver Springs; numerous siblings in Oregon; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Burial will be at the Silver Springs Cemetery.

FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
