The YMCA of the Sierra has promoted Gwen Sommer has been promoted to vice president and chief operating officer.
Sommer, previously the executive director of the Reno Family Branch, will oversee operations for the association.
David Taylor has been promoted to vice-president and chief communications officer.
Taylor, previously marketing director, will manage all internal and external communications for the association.
Mark Denning has joined the YMCA of the Sierra as the executive director of the Sparks Family YMCA.
Denning will manage the day-today operations for the branch.
Brad Stewart has joined the YMCA and will oversee the sports department for the Sparks Family Branch as well as serve as a communications assistant for the corporate offices.
