A memorial service for Raymond Joseph Andrade, 67, a Yerington resident for the past two years, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Alban's Episcopal Church, 12 N. West St., Yerington. Military honors will be provided by American Legion Post No. 9.
Mr. Andrade died Sept. 29, 2003, at Washoe Medical Center. He was born Dec. 27, 1935, in San Rafael, Calif., to Raymond and Ruth Goodwin Andrade.
He served in the U.S. Navy for 30 years. After his retirement he moved to Yerington from California.
Mr. Andrade was a member of the American Legion, Moose Lodge and a volunteer for the Red Cross.
Among his survivors are his wife Betty Jane of Yerington; son Guy Norton of Louisiana; daughter Carmen Storlie of California; brother Charles of Spring Valley, Calif. and grandchildren Jason, Erin and Neil.
Cremation will take place and private family disposition will be held.
Memorial contributions may be made to a local Red Cross.
Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
