Granite Construction Inc.
has hired Jonathan Cliffe as plant engineer.
Cliffe has four years of experience in mining engineering, most recently serving as production and special projects engineer at Salem Stone Corp.
in Blacksburg, Va.
In his new position, he will be responsible for assisting the plants manager with production facilities in Reno, Carson City and Las Vegas.
Cliffe earned a bachelor of science degree in mining engineering from Virginia Tech.
